3D Agency: connecting international electronic music with Italy
Rome-based 3D Agency began operating in 2007 under the name DNA Dance Department. Its official history describes work as a booking agency and promoter connecting international artists with the Italian scene, as well as projects involving festivals and live electronic performances. It is therefore broader than a specialist techno-only agency, but several names in its published roster make it relevant to techno promoters.
The current official artist catalogue includes Richie Hawtin, Floorplan, Lory D, Polygonia and Actress alongside artists working in house, bass, experimental electronic music and other styles. That diversity is a reason to search by individual artist rather than assume all agency bookings suit a conventional four-to-the-floor techno night.
The crucial booking-territory detail
3D’s official Richie Hawtin profile explicitly gives the booking territory as Italy and lists DJ or live performances. Its Floorplan profile also specifies Italy. Those entries should not be interpreted as worldwide exclusivity. If your event is outside the stated territory, consult the artist’s current official representation or ask the appropriate agency to direct you.
The agency’s artist pages are useful because they separate the public roster from the actual booking relationship. Before contacting a booker, prepare the event date, city, venue, show format and proposed offer so the person receiving it can assess the enquiry efficiently.
Can unsigned DJs apply to join 3D?
Its About page publishes general contact details, but that is not equivalent to a verified open application process for new representation. Underground Talent therefore keeps unsolicited representation enquiries marked unverified until the agency explicitly states that it accepts them.
Why this agency is in our finder
3D demonstrates an important distinction in the booking industry: an agency can be highly relevant for a particular techno artist and country without being a global techno-specialist roster. Our Techno Agency Finder distinguishes these cases so promoters can identify credible contacts rather than sending requests to the wrong office.
