Meet Bervon: Brazilian Techno
Bervon is one of the names that has been causing a buzz in the Brazilian electronic scene. The young artist is only 22 years old but already has a promising career as a DJ and producer, presenting outstanding moments on the dancefloors, on the platforms, and drawing the attention of artists around the world.
Bernardo Arruda Von Tempski, aka Bervon, started his trajectory in electronic music very early. At 16, still a teenager, he started going to parties and was fascinated by the music that was being introduced. It didn’t take long for him to start learning about it, and soon he was playing his first gigs. Two years later, he was already considered a prodigy and was producing his own music, and discovering himself in this world.

Techno was not the starting point in the artist’s career, which has always been very eclectic, but it was the style in which he identified himself deeply, and for this reason, until today it’s the most present in his sets and productions. But Bervon doesn’t limit himself to this, as he listens to different genres and goes to different parties, his compositions feature a rich combination of elements, which alternate between heavier beats and more melodic harmonies. This versatility, added to his raw talent, has made him one of the scene’s main bets.

From the beginning of his musical journey until now, 6 years have gone by. Today, Bervon collects countless highlights in his resume, such as releases in national and international labels like ODD Recordings, Spliced Vinyl Recordings and Ballroom Black, gigs in renowned clubs like D-Edge and Surreal, partnerships with major electronic names like Tarter, acclaimed producer with whom he composes the project New Old Technology (N.O.T), besides being a member of the D. Agency team, resident DJ at Momentum, and creator of the label Overdrive_72.

Bervon
His artistic growth is evident. Bervon is always in search of new knowledge, embracing the opportunities that come his way, and developing them with finesse. While in his personal project, he transits between slow and intense rhythms, always introducing new stuff, but that transmit personality, in N.O.T, he brings this contemporary and fresh atmosphere to a fusion with Tarter’s years of experience and technique, that together can attend different publics by bringing an innovative sound, while adding more knowledge to each other.

Bervon’s story is already full of remarkable moments, but these are just the first steps of an artist who has all the potential to become one of the main references of Brazilian Techno. Soon he leaves for Europe, where he will spend a few months performing his music for a new audience, ready to make his name known abroad.
