Gonzalo MD – Molecular XX 7 by Molecular Records
Gonzalo MD’s “Molecular XX 7” is a deep, powerful musical journey through lushly crafted techno repetitive rhythms that have elevating energy and flowing sensibility as they unfold through time.
The beat of the drums creates a sense of stability, while the bass reverberates outward, giving a sense of space and tranquillity. The Wind gently flows through, and the higher synth notes create a sense of movement and excitement, while the drums provide a sense of direction and purpose.
The drumbeat is the pulsing heart of the music, with the raised, lambent synths like misty sunlight on water. Below them, the ripples spread outwards, and lower still, the luscious bass keeps lapping in a tidal flow. The drums pulsate non-stop, shaping the music as it begins to fade out…
The bass drives the music forward as the drums provide a gentle, yet steady accompaniment. The ethereal feeling of the music gradually becomes more energetic, as if carried on a breeze. The synths take on darker tones, accompanied by twisted, echoed string pulses.
The bass weight creates a throbbing sound that is heavy and there is tension in the darkness that is floating above it.

The melody drives the music forward, with the piano notes echoing out in wide, slightly tense lines. All of the distant sounds continue to float in the background, providing a ghostly flow. The drums and bass drop out for a moment, and the music takes on a more shadowy, ancient feel. The angular, medium-high synth drifts in melancholy repetition before the beat launches again. The haunted, distant sounds echo above the relentless bass pulsation before everything falls silent.
“Molecular XX 7” begins with large, flowing bass waves accompanied by low-to-medium, hollow synths moving in broken patterns. The drums provide further structure to the music as it progresses in a hypnotic pulse. The shadowy synth bursts float atop the music with a resonant metallic hiss.
An ethereal, reverent synth soundscape with round, undulating notes forming a repeating pattern. The bass moves in lapping, continual waves underneath the trance-inducing synth, giving the listener an endless, cosmic feeling. The drums and bass fade out, leaving the listener in a state of reverie.
